Erich Ohser -e.o.plauen- the famous caricaturist and book illustrator and prominent "son" of Plauen drew the legendary and amusing stories about father & son and left a heritage of great value for future generations. He spent his childhood and teenage years in Plauen and later chose the pseudonym e.o.plauen - Erich Ohser from Plauen. His versatile art work can be viewed at the Gallery e.o.plauen in the Erich-Ohser-Haus in Plauen. It is a great honor for the City of Plauen to present his oeuvre in semi-annually changing exhibitions.

The amusing stories of the two lovable fellows, the mustached father and his mischievous son, still amaze young and old and make them smile. The exhibitions also give insights into his lifework and show further highlights of his art like brilliant landscape drawings, nude studies and portrait drawings. In addition, the exhibition illustrates the eventful live of Ohser through photographies, documents and furniture he designed.
